Dr. Joel Moskowitz provided an overview of selected studies on health hazards of these technologies.

A study by the National Toxicology Program (NTP) completed in 2018 found that RFR exposure was associated with:

  • Clear evidence of tumors in the hearts of male rats
  • Some evidence of tumors in the brains of male rats
  • Some evidence of tumors in the adrenal glands of male rats

Joel M. Moskowitz Ph.D. is an ICBE-EMF Commissioner and has been Director of the Center for Family and Community Health in the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley since 1993.

His publications include co-authoring a meta-analysis on brain cancer risk and a six-nation study of outdoor exposures to RF.  Dr. Moskowitz has translated and disseminated research on the biologic and health effects research of wireless radiation through his Electromagnetic Radiation Safety website (saferemr.com) since 2013. He also serves as a scientific advisor to Physicians for Safe Technology the International EMF Scientist Appeal.
