Joel M. Moskowitz Ph.D. is an ICBE-EMF Commissioner and has been Director of the Center for Family and Community Health in the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley since 1993.
His publications include co-authoring a meta-analysis on brain cancer risk and a six-nation study of outdoor exposures to RF. Dr. Moskowitz has translated and disseminated research on the biologic and health effects research of wireless radiation through his Electromagnetic Radiation Safety website (saferemr.com) since 2013. He also serves as a scientific advisor to Physicians for Safe Technology the International EMF Scientist Appeal.

The Federal Mobility Group (FGM) is co-chaired by mobile leaders from the Department of Homeland Security, General Services Administration, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. It reports to the Services, Strategy, & Infrastructure Committee within the Federal Chief Information Officers Council and the Federal IT Category Manager, with executive sponsorship by a federal agency Chief Information Security Officer, or CISO. The FMG looks at non-national security and mobility mission-related challenges agencies face. It is currently focused on 5G, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, security and policy regulations, and other emerging technologies.
