Professor Igor Yakymenko received a PhD in Human and Animal Physiology from Lviv National Academy and PhD/DrSc in Biophysics from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Ukraine. He has over 30-year experience in research and teaching in the fields of Biophysics, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy and Sustainability. His main research interests are biological effects of low intensity electromagnetic radiation and the sustainability / green economy. He is a participant of many International projects and events, including Fulbright Visiting Scholar Project on Bioeffects of non-ionizing EMFs at Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana, USA and Erasmus+ projects on the Sustainable development strategy, the EU. Currently, he is the Head of Department of Environmental Safety at National University of Food Technologies, Kyiv and Professor at Department of Public Health at Kyiv Medical University, Ukraine.
